AWG G20 merupakan salah satu kelompok kerja yang berada di bawah sherpatrack dan diampu oleh Kementerian Pertanian selaku ketua dari kelompok kerja tersebut. Pertemuan ini akan menjadi upaya nyata Negara-negara di dunia untuk menjadikan pertanian sebagai sektor utama dalam menghadapi berbagai krisis seperti kelaparan dan kemiskinan.
Kelompok kerja bidang pertanian presidensi G20 akan fokus pada tiga isu utama, yaitu membangun sistem pangan yang tangguh dan berkelanjutan, mempromosikan perdagangan pangan yang terbuka dan ketiga mendorong bisnis pertanian yang inovatif melalui pertanian digital.

Kementan melalui Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan saat ini tengah fokus pada peningkatan tata kelola industri kelapa sawit serta optimalisasi penerimaan sesuai Kepres nomor 9 tahun 2023 dengan memperbaiki Ijin Usaha Perkebunan (IUP).
Dikembangkam juga platform digital Sistem Informasi Perizinan Perkebunan (SIPERIBUN) sebagai suatu sistem berbasis aplikasi nasional yang akan digunakan oleh Satgas Sawit melalui self reporting.
Selain itu saja, Ditjen Perkebunan tengah melakukan pengembangan integrasi antara program yang satu dengan lainya agar terbentuk ekosistem kelapa sawit rakyat yang berstruktur dan dapat menghela peningkatan.
