Pemblokiran situs maupun judi online jadi salah satu strategi yang selama ini dijalankan kementerian komunikasi, dari yang sebelumnya bernama Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika hingga saat ini berubah nama menjadi Komdigi.

Pada rapat kerja perdana dengan Komisi I DPR RI, Selasa, 5 November 2024, Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Meutya Hafid, menegaskan bahwa pemberantasan judi online tidak cukup hanya dengan pemblokiran konten. Saat ini, pihaknya juga tengah melakukan audit SDM dan audit sistem melibatkan aparat hukum.

Meutya menyebut, Kemkomdigi telah membentuk tim kerja khusus yang melibatkan berbagai pihak untuk berantas judol. Termasuk Ekosistem Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik dan media.

Dalam keterangan sebelumnya, Meutya mengaku bahwa sejak pemerintahan baru Presiden Prabowo Subianto, pihaknya sudah menangani 187 ribu situs yang terindikasi memfasilitasi judi online dalam rentang waktu 10 hari.

Pemberantasan judi online perlu mendapat dukungan masyarakat. Bagi masyarakat yang ingin melaporkan konten judi online atau penipuan dari penyalahgunaan nomor, Kemkodigi membuka sejumlah layanan pengaduan yang bisa masyarakat akses seperti:
1. Aduankonten.id untuk pengaduan konten negatif. Pengaduan ini juga bisa diakses melalui kontak WhatsApp di 0811-9924-545.
2. WhatsApp chatbot stop judi online masyarakat bisa mengadukan ke nomor layanan 0811-1001-5080.
3. Pengaduan penyalahgunaan nomor seluler masyarakat bisa mengakses Aduannomor.id
4. Portal pelaporan rekening bank atau e-wallet terindikasi tindak pidana, masyarakat bisa melaporkan ke situs cekrekening.id
