Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital memperkuat kerja sama dengan Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation untuk mempercepat transformasi digital.

Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital, Meutya Hafid menyoroti pentingnya pengembangan Digital Public Infrastructure dan Inclusive Financial Systems sebagai elemen utama untuk membangun ekosistem digital yang inklusif, aman, dan memberdayakan.

Kemitraan ini sejalan dengan visi kemkomdigi untuk mempercepat digitalisasi nasional melalui penguatan infrastruktur digital, peningkatan inklusi keuangan, dan literasi digital bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia.

Menkomdigi memaparkan langkah-langkah konkret yang telah dan akan diambil oleh pemerintah Indonesia, salah satunya melalui peningkatan literasi digital.

Ia menegaskan pentingnya edukasi digital untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait keamanan data, pemanfaatan teknologi secara produktif, dan pengelolaan keuangan digital.

Menkomdigi menilai, Indonesia sudah saatnya beralih fokus dari hanya menjadi data consumption menjadi data production yang mandiri.
