“Kura-kura Berjanggut” adalah sebuah film seni dari sImpul Aceh yang disajikan dalam Festival Bumi Rempah Nusantara untuk Dunia. Film ini diadaptasi dari novel “Kura-kura Berjanggut” (2018) karya Azhari Aiyub yang menggambarkan sejarah Aceh pada abad ke-16 Masehi. Cerita ini mengisahkan persaingan politik antar bangsa dalam usaha untuk menguasai jalur perdagangan rempah-rempah di Selat Malaka.

Film ini juga mengangkat peran Kerajaan Lamuri, yang merupakan salah satu titik strategis di Jalur Rempah Nusantara pada masa lampau. Novel berhalaman 900-an ini pernah meraih penghargaan sastra bergengsi di Indonesia, Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa.
