Presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam Leaders Retreat Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi Kerja Sama Ekonomi Asia-Pasifik (APEC) 2024 yang digelar di Lima, Peru, menyatakan komitmen Indonesia untuk mendukung perdagangan antarnegara yang terbuka, teratur, dan adil di kawasan Asia Pasifik.

Menurut Presiden, APEC merupakan platform strategis untuk mempererat hubungan antarnegara di kawasan Asia-Pasifik, termasuk perdagangan internasional yang terorganisasi dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, Indonesia berkomitmen untuk terus berperan aktif dalam memastikan kesetaraan dalam perdagangan global.

KTT APEC 2024 di Lima menjadi kesempatan penting bagi Indonesia untuk memperjuangkan perdagangan inklusif yang memberikan manfaat, tidak hanya bagi negara-negara besar, tetapi juga ekonomi kecil dan berkembang di kawasan Asia-Pasifik.
