Presiden Prabowo mengumumkan kenaikan rata-rata upah minimum nasional (UMK) sebesar 6,5% untuk tahun 2025. Keputusan ini diambil setelah rapat terbatas dengan sejumlah menteri terkait dan pembahasan dengan pimpinan serikat buruh. Upah minimum sektoral akan ditetapkan oleh dewan pengupahan provinsi, kota, dan kabupaten. Presiden juga menegaskan pentingnya kesejahteraan buruh dan akan dilakukan upaya perbaikan, termasuk pemberian makan bergizi untuk anak-anak dan ibu hamil dari keluarga buruh berpenghasilan rendah.
